So Unlucky.

It has taken me a few years to realise, but after last night's events, I have come to the conclusion that I am probably the most unlucky person I know...

Emma, Steve and Fred came up to Leicester yesterday, so a night of drinking was on the cards with them, Adam, Will, Paul and Alix. After witnessing the defeat of Wales on the big screen in Soar Point (Adam lost our bet and now owes me some sort of Leicester University branded crockery) we moved on to his territory; Varsity, then to Adams house where we picked up his housemates and moved on to the O2.

Many drinks later, and what I have worked out from random receipts to be £56 spent, home time arrived. After purchasing a jumbo sausage and chips (salt, lots of ketchup; the perfect post-drinks meal) I made my way over to everyone. However, my meal was cut short due to my inebriated state, lack of balance and poor choice of shoes. I slipped up a grass bank, lost my footing and face-planted the pavement, resulting in a large nose bleed, swollen nose, scabby forehead and the loss of the tastiest jumbo sausage I have ever come across...

I find it ironic that earlier on in the evening a BBC camera man was filming a documentary on binge drinking.

Adding insult to injury, today I fell into the sofa with my already broken face.
And to top it all off, I woke this morning to find that, not only do I have some form of whiplash in my neck from hitting the floor with my face at such force, but I also lost my bank card last night, so I have £10 to last me till a new one arrives... brilliant.
